JC Cinel
JC Cinel was born as an artist more than 20 years ago, as a singer/guitarist and song-writer taking up different musical generes ranging from classic rock, southern rock, rock-blues, country-rock, prog rock and west - coast
They have never been re-proposed in a canonical way, but mixed: the result is a particular blend with melody on top of it and a special care for both vocal and instrumental arrangements.
Harmony vocals play an outstanding part, they are infact used as a real instrument coloring and expanding the melody bounds.
Musical Activities and live experiences:
In 1985 he's the singer/guitarist of a band called "The Air" playng his own written songs ( Styx and Yes- like) publishe in a record called "Shine on me".
From 1990 to 1992 he's frequently stayng in California ( Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco) to develop musical and language studies.
In 1992 he's in the "Lost and Found", a five pieces band mixing west-coast sound to latin rhythms and percussion.
In 1996 he's the founder and leader of "Poison Whiskey"( southern rock/70's rock) and "Head and Heart"( country-rock, west-coast), playing in the most prestigious clubs in the north of Italy.
"Head and Heart" born like a quintet, but in 2000 they became an acoustic trio, adding more bluesy rhythms and colors to the initial west coast mark. The smooth and melodic sound of the acoustic guitars is considerably enriched by the three parts harmony vocals. The band playing covers of CSN, Bob Dylan, America, Eagles, Neil Young ecc...
In 2000 he is the side act of Mac Auly (singer of Michael Shenker group) during an Italian summer festival.
In 2001 "Halfway there"goes out as his first self-produced unplugged record. He's also the winner of a national new artist contest "Emergenze Chitarre", organized by the prestigious italian magazine "Chitarre".
In 2002 he works with artists taking up experimental sound installations; winning the contest "Una stanza tutta per sè" - Ricci Oddi Gallery (Piacenza, Italy). he's collaborating with several newspaper and magazines with musical reviews...
In 2003 two songs from “Halfway there” are chosen to be part of a compilation produced by T.M.P.B. Recordings – New Mexico which has being airplayed in 30 radio stations in the south west of America.
November 2003 - JC becomes the lead singer of hard rock psych band Wicked Minds with consequent release of "From the purple skies" for Black Window Records distributed all over Europe. The "JC Cinel band" carries out a lucky summer tour in France (Cote d’Azur) and Germany (Freiburg).
May 2004 – The JC is back on tour to gig in the best clubs around Nizza area.
July-August 2004 – The JC Cinel Band is still on the road for a 2 months tour in the Crete island.
February 2005 - JC performs at the prestigious Belgian Club "Spirit 66" with Wicked Minds to promote the new Record Summer 2004.
May 2005 - The "JC Cinel" is back in France for his third tour around Nice Area.
April 2006 - “Witchflower” is the 2nd album Wicked Minds put out produced by Black Widow records with consequent tour promotion in Germany,Austria and Switzerland, playng gigs in Munchen, Siegen, Hanau Salzburg and Bern.
May 2006 – JC Cinel plays as side-act of the great harmonica player Jerry Portnoy (Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters)during the 2°Piacenza blues Festival, performing songs from the new JC record ”Before my eyes”.
July 2006 - JC Cinel with Wicked Minds performs at the well-known "Burg Herzberg Festival" in Germany, a great event where Wicked Minds shared the stage with rock legends such as UFO, SOFT MACHINE, WISHBONE ASH, ADRIAN BELEW (King Crisom), ULI JON ROTH (Scorpions)...
August 2006 - JC flies this time to Spain for another European tour...One month tour where JC plays in the best clubs around Costa del Sol.ies this time to Spain for another European tour. September 2006 – JC Cinel performs with Wicked Minds at Teatro Civico La Spezia for the third ”Prog Festival”, together with great classic prog bands such as Osanna and Maschera di Cera.
January 2007 - JC Cinel is the “opening act”of Chris Knight Italian tour.
March 2007 - "Before my eyes" is out, distributed by Black Widow Records.
March 2007 - JC presents the new record while playing as “opening act”, at Teatro Toscanini Chiari Brescia, of Terry Evans, well-known singer for his collaborations with John Lee Hooker, Ry Cooder, John Fogerty and Joan Armatrading.
April 2007 - Wicked Minds record “Live at Burg Herzberg Festival 2006” is out, produced by German Inakustik records.
July/August 2007 - JC goes on with his frenzied live tour. This time is Nashville, Tennessee, the place to hear the song-writer sound. He carries out a 13 gigs tour performing at Dougles Corner, Tootsie, Bayley's, Cadillac Ranch and many other venues well-known in the Music city. His stay in Nashville allows him to get in touch and play with world-wide known artists such as as Johnny Neel (ex keyboards player Allman Brothers Band), Mike Stergis (Crosby,Stills and Nash guitar player) and Mike Cullison (very well-known song-writer from Nashville).

December 2007 - JC Cinel Is a guest at "ROCK FM RADIO", the prestigious rock radio in Milan, to present the last album "Before my eyes" and fot the New Years day ( 31th december) he perform, with his band, on the great stage of "Palabanca", in Piacenza.
January 2008 - JC Cinel performs as a special guest for the "WIND and friends winter jam" at Blueshouse in Milan. A special event organised by the great Italian southern Jam Band W.I.N.D.
February 2008 - JC Cinel is a guest at "ROCK CITY NIGHTS", this radio transmission is conducted by Donato Zoppo on the frequency di Radio Citt BN (95.800 MHZ), and then JC goes to Nashville, Tennessee...
February 2008 - JC flies back to Nashville for a three months stay in the Music City for collaborationa, gigs and recordings. It’s important to underline his performance at the famous Bluebird Cafè in Nashville and his collaboration with Johnny Neel, ex Allman Brothers band, that will see him play Hammond organ on a few songs in the new album which is going to be out in 2009.
Summer 2008 - Another one month Spanish tour in Costa Blanca Spain where JC plays gigs in Alicante, Benidorm, Altea, Torrevieja.
October 2008 - JC Cinel performs as opening act at La Casa 139 for American song writer Ashley Flynn.
November 2008 - JC
Cinel is the "opening act"of Jono Manson for a few gigs of his italian
tour.
November 2008 - JC Cinel performes at the Blueshouse in Milan as "opening
act"of California song writer Johnny Kaplan.
January 2009 - JC Cinel starts a new collaboration with guitarist Jimi
Barbiani(ex W.I.N.D.). The new band is called "Jimi Barbiani Band" and
JC becomes the lead singer and co-writer, with Jimi Barbiani, of the
songs that will be part of the new release in September 2010.
Summer 2009 - JC Cinel is back on the road for another spanish tour in
Costa Blanca, Spain.
By the end of 2010 the new solo album "The light of a new sun" will be
out. It will be a very articulated record with a more rock edge, but all
the elements that make up JC Cinel style will be there to start a new
musical journey...stay tuned...
Summer 2010 - JC CINEL with the "Jimi Barbiani Band" will be" opening
act" for TEN YEARS AFTER concert in Udine and for ex John Mayall
guitarist BUDDY WIDDINGTONE at AMENO BLUES Festival.
December 2010 - "Back
on the tracks" is out for Andromeda Relix and Black Widow records. JC
CINEL is lead singer and co writer of the Jimi Barbiani band which
releases this new record hard blues oriented.
January 2011 - The Jimi Barbiani band carries out a very lucky and
succesful tour in Holland and Germany that produces new positive
feedback and reviews in Europe...many more will be out soon...the band
will be out on the road soon for a new European tour at the end of May
while the participation of The Jimi Barbiani band at Burg Herzberg
Festival 2011 is already confirmed.
June 2011 - The ne album "The light of a new sun" is out produced by
Andromeda Relix and Black Widow records. Another step forward in JC's
carrier who enriches the sound with a more rocky edge and with new
influences. Special guest Johnny neel on keyboards ex Allman Brothers
and Gov't Mule.
July 2011 - JC CINEL performs once again at the prestigios german Burg
herzberg festival in front of 4 thousand people with Jimi Barbiani
Band... other important festivals follow such as Folkest...Fiamene and
Subiaco (Jimi hendrix's brother and Willie Nile are performing acts of
the same festival).
August 2011 - "The light of a new sun" after little time since its
release is receiving grreat reviews in Germany. Home of rock and
Rocktimes rate this albun as a "highlight".
November 2011 - Great reviews are out all over the world.

December 2011 - J.C.Cinel and his band will be out on the road for a
European tour Germany Holland and Belgium. The closing tour gig will be
at prestigious Belgian club Spirit of 66... The club will be hosting
these months great names of international rock music such as Molly
Hatchet, Robben Ford, Steve Hacket, Walter trout...
February/March 2012 - "The light o the new sun" is still duing great.
Songs from the new album are being broadcasted by BELJUM NATIONAL RADIO
CLASSIC 21... The album is in the ten top picks of the prestigiouse
Southern Rock Magazine BANDS OF DIXIE.
April 2012 - JC CINEL performs at Fillmore (PC) opening for ERIC SARDINAS.
July 2012 - JC CINEL performs at Nistoc Festival in front of 3000 People sharing the stage with Andrea Braido project.

2013 Another succesfull European tour is carried out in Holland ,
Belgium and France....The last performance of the tour is at FESTIROCK
well known French rock Festival where JC and his band are the most
praised and acclaimed band of the Festival
